Like a top-selling novel, a great rafting trip stirs adventure.
Memories run for a lifetime.
An inspired guide makes all the difference.
Bridget Guthrie stirs her followers to . . .
- embrace beauty
- press the unknown
“A year ago we were nervously emerging from our tent in the Winds, certain that the bear who kept us awake all night would still be there in the field, awaiting us. We paddled the first of the navigable miles of the Green River, with Squaretop Mountain looming solid and resounding in the distance. It was the true beginning of our journey as we put paddle to water and headed off into our own great unknown.” @bridgetguthrie/Instagram post 9/27/2019
She leads tours on rivers like . . .
- the Salmon
- the Snake
- the Lochsa
Everywhere she paddles, there’s . . .
- uncertainty
- beauty
- risk
But, Bridget steers us to embrace the unknown with a lens for adventure.
Her photos share the beauty of skies, rivers, mountains, trees and flowers.
They remind us that goodness is thriving in this world. There is plenty of life to enjoy.
My last rafting adventure cruised the Green River in Whistler, BC.
Emerald water, trees and mountains engulfed us more than oxygen.
- Without water, a human being dies after four days.
- Without oxygen, brain damage occurs in four minutes.
Rafting reminds us that God fills our world with ample supplies for our needs.
And he does it all with beauty.
Just put yourself out there, in rhythm.
