<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.steveblaising.com\/content\/bolt-from-your-money-prison-with-three-gems\/\">The three laws of money<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I benefited from them and shared them often as a financial speaker at dental and medical conventions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\" id=\"h-2-successful-folks-say-no\">2.  <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Successful folks say &#8220;no.&#8221;<\/mark><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Another way folks settle for too little is by doing too much.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not Clint Eastwood.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Clint, like my mentor Paul, is known for his epic refusal to settle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He refuses to stop working while refusing to work harder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"792\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.steveblaising.com\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/Clint-Eastwood-blog.jpg\" alt=\"Clint Eastwood defines successful\" class=\"wp-image-7555\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.steveblaising.com\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/Clint-Eastwood-blog.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/blog.steveblaising.com\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/Clint-Eastwood-blog-300x232.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blog.steveblaising.com\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/Clint-Eastwood-blog-768x594.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Entertainment Contributor Archive 2020\/Jayne Kamin-Oncea\/GettyImages<\/mark><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>His wildly successful formula works for us, too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>He won&#8217;t go over budget<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>He won&#8217;t go over schedule<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>He won&#8217;t change a script<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>A Clint Eastwood movie is defined by what he won&#8217;t do as much as what he will do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Wildly successful folks say &#8220;no&#8221; in order to live &#8220;yes.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center has-very-dark-gray-color has-text-color\" id=\"h-3-settlers-ignore-god\">3.  <mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\"><strong>Settlers <\/strong>ignore God<\/mark><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The last way I think folks settle for too little is living without the supernatural.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Living without God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you believe God is with you, then you are alert to his <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.steveblaising.com\/content\/extra-strength-from-this-six-word-formula-every-day\/\">strength<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reminds me of the Sunday school teacher who asked her four-year-olds if they knew the 23rd Psalm.\u00a0 This little girl weaves to the front of the class, bows, and says, \u201cThe Lord is my shepherd; that\u2019s all I want.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beliefs are your greatest strength or your greatest weakness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Without God, you are a naturalist restricted to the best atoms can offer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>With God, you are a supernaturalist accessing unlimited power.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>&#8220;The Most High does not dwell in <em>houses<\/em> made by <em>human<\/em> hands; as the prophet says: &#8216;HEAVEN IS MY THRONE, AND EARTH IS THE FOOTSTOOL OF MY FEET; WHAT KIND OF HOUSE WILL YOU BUILD FOR ME?&#8217; says the Lord, &#8216;OR WHAT PLACE IS THERE FOR MY REPOSE?
