In fact, suffering loses its scary grip when lighting four eye-opening fuses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Fuse #1: Is God in your life?<\/mark><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

When overwhelmed, I know my life is in God\u2019s hands.  Do you?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

To whom do you trust your life?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If you can confidently approach God as \u201cmy God,\u201d \u201cmy Lord,\u201d or \u201cmy Savior,\u201d then you are safe, secure, and delivered from madness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cGod’s firm foundation stands, bearing this seal: \u2018The Lord knows those who are his.\u2019\u201d
\u2014 2 Tim 2:19<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This never changes for those who belong to God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

And if you are not sure, open the door<\/a> and let him in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Even if doubts about faith linger, God is closer than you think.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“…that they would seek God, if perhaps they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us<\/strong>; for in Him we live and move and exist, as even some of your own poets have said, ‘For we also are His children.'”
\u2014 Acts 17:27-28<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fuse #2: Call out to God<\/mark><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

One of the first verses I ever memorized was . . .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cFear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God.  I will strengthen you.  I will help you. I will uphold you with my victorious right hand<\/strong>.\u201d
\u2014  <\/strong>Isa 41:10<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That’s real.  Even in pain.  Even in fear.  Even in suffering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Deliverance happens in the unseen realm of faith.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“By faith…he endured, as seeing Him who is unseen.” 
\u2014 Heb 11:27<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We frazzle easily because our habit is fear first.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

But fear is conquered when we express our laments in prayer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“Yet the LORD longs to be gracious to you; therefore,<\/strong> he will rise up to show you compassion.<\/strong> For the LORD is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for him!  How gracious he will be when you cry for help! As soon as he hears, he will answer you. Although the Lord gives you the bread of adversity and the water of affliction, your teachers will be hidden no more; with your own eyes, you will see them. Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, \u201cThis is the way; walk in it.\u201d  <\/strong>

I’m convinced that God delivers us in our suffering by voicing our pain in prayer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then, counsel for the best path comes through…<\/p>\n\n\n\n
