So, whatever is working for Sister Jean, I want it!  Don’t you?<\/p>\n\n\n

The chaplain of the 2018 Loyola Ramblers rocked the world with three big ideas about winning attitudes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

\u00a0<\/mark><\/strong>Attitude #1: <\/mark>Forget about conditions.\u00a0 Focus on choices.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Her suffering is the elephant in the room with Sister Jean\u2019s winning ideas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She spent much of the basketball season recovering from hip surgery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Two pins and a titanium rod were planted in her leg last November.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When asked about her recovery, she said . . .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cYou have to be gutsy.\u201d\u00a0 <\/strong>SJ<\/mark><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Sister Jean makes worldwide news by offering advice, encouragement, and ideas from a wheelchair!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“It all depends on how hard you work for it. We have a little slogan that we say, ‘worship, work and win!'”\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>SJ<\/mark><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Our suffering nun decides to worship, work, and win every day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Just look at the way she handles adversity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Attitude #2<\/mark> Forget about obstacles.  Focus on bonds.<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

After surgery, the hospital didn\u2019t have a station for the Rambler games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

So, she followed play-by-play on a website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Then, she prerecorded her prayer to be played at Loyola\u2019s games.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When the Ramblers whipped Drake 72-57, she sent an email to Forward Donte Ingram . . .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDonte, keep getting those rebounds; that action helps to add more points to the game.\u201d\u00a0 <\/strong>SJ<\/mark><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

And then she had these thoughts for guard Clayton Custer . . .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThey were certainly out to get you.\u00a0 However, your fantastic plays outwitted them and made them nervous.\u00a0 Keep up your great work and don\u2019t get injured.\u201d\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

And then at a Final Four press conference in San Antonio . . .<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“These young players are playing for their hearts, and not for any financial assistance.”\u00a0 <\/span><\/strong>SJ<\/mark><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

Attitude #3<\/mark> Focus on good work<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Sister Jean is wealthy in good works.  That\u2019s why she has a wealthy life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
