It\u2019s tremendously exciting, and the possibilities for your gifts and talents are unlimited.&nbsp; But, you need an atomic fortress when all hell breaks loose because it\u2019s going to explode often and in ways you can&#8217;t imagine.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On second thought, I\u2019m glad no one told me that because I probably would have holed up on a sailboat in the BVI for the rest of my life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"709\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.steveblaising.com\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Steve-in-the-BVI-1024x709.jpg\" alt=\"The BVI melts anxiety\" class=\"wp-image-17423\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.steveblaising.com\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Steve-in-the-BVI-1024x709.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/blog.steveblaising.com\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Steve-in-the-BVI-300x208.jpg 300w, https:\/\/blog.steveblaising.com\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Steve-in-the-BVI-768x532.jpg 768w, https:\/\/blog.steveblaising.com\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Steve-in-the-BVI.jpg 1200w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No doubt, the British Virgin Islands are a gateway to heaven for replenishing the soul.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>God is overwhelmingly present throughout his creation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sometimes, all we need are warm winds and magnificent colors to rejuvenate our faith.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>\u201cIf any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you.\u201d&nbsp;<\/strong> James 1:5<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>He strengthens, he counsels, and he gives insight at your hiding place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>&#8220;Therefore, every person should pray to you in time of distress. &nbsp;You are my hiding place; you guard me from distress; with joyful shouts of deliverance you surround me. &nbsp;&#8216;I will instruct you and show you the way you should walk, give you counsel with my eye upon you. &nbsp;Do not be like a horse or mule, without understanding; with bit and bridle their temper is curbed, else they will not come to you.&#8217; &nbsp;Many are the sorrows of the wicked, but mercy surrounds the one who trusts in the LORD.&#8221;<\/strong>&nbsp; Psalm 32:6-10<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\" id=\"h-a-domain-of-unlimited-solutions\"><strong>A domain of unlimited solutions<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"box-sizing: border-box; I do not give to you as the world gives.  Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.  I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace.  In this world you will have trouble.  But take heart.  I have overcome the world.&#8221;<\/strong>  John 14 and 16 selected verses<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>He carries those who throw themselves upon him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\" id=\"h-surprising-to-me-but-not-to-god\"><strong>Surprising to me, but not to God<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Two catastrophic events really got my attention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The worst was the Financial Crisis of 2008.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It affected <span style=\"box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;\">everyone&#8217;s money and nearly brought<a href=\"http:\/\/media.swbts.edu\/item\/1067\/life-in-the-fast-lane\" target=\"_blank\">&nbsp;<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.steveblaising.com\/content\/protect-yourself-from-the-next-financial-collapse\/\" target=\"_blank\">the financial world to its knees<\/a><\/span>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Many folks don&#8217;t realize how serious this was and still is, especially in a hyper-inflated world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And then there&#8217;s physical pain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nothing warned me of the autoimmune disease I encountered at <a href=\"http:\/\/blog.steveblaising.com\/content\/pain-free-nerves-are-just-4-steps-away\/\">64<\/a> or the back pain my wife Judy endured from age <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.steveblaising.com\/content\/debilitating-pain-3-proven-methods-find-lasting-relief\/\">60 to 64.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>And yet these atomic interruptions have one thing in common.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I brought each to my hiding place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\" id=\"h-anxiety-flees-your-hiding-place\"><strong>Anxiety flees <\/strong>your hiding place<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Why? Your vision shifts from the seen to the unseen world, fostering mental and spiritual stability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">STRENGTH<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;<strong>The LORD will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.<\/strong>&#8221;&nbsp;Isaiah 58:11<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">WISDOM<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>&#8220;<strong>Yet the LORD longs to be gracious to you; therefore he will rise up to show you compassion. &nbsp;How gracious he will be when you cry for help!
