Some are in their 50s.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>So, we chatted about three life-changing ideas for loneliness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\" id=\"h-1-loneliness-flees-faith\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">1.<\/mark><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Loneliness flees faith<\/mark><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Days after the party, I saw the movie, <em>Devotion<\/em>, a true and inspiring story about rising above loss.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jessie Brown, the first Black aviator in the U.S. Navy, found strength in spite of loneliness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Loneliness caused by racism and rejection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Instead, he overcame by believing in himself.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I would add, &#8220;faith in God and yourself.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The fabulous song, <em>Not Alone<\/em>, by Joe Jonas at the end of the movie, says it all.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Joe Jonas &amp; into &#8216;MUSTS.'&#8221;<\/strong>  Tony Robbins<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\" id=\"h-3-loneliness-flees-action\"><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-black-color\">3.<\/mark><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">Loneliness flees action<\/mark><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px; padding: 0px;\">Dr. Julius Segal, in his classic book&nbsp;<em>Winning Life&#8217;s Toughest Battles<\/em>, implores us to take action.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There&#8217;s nothing like the next tiny step in overcoming loneliness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The darker your <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.steveblaising.com\/content\/blow-out-of-your-hole-through-these-escape-hatches\/\">hole<\/a>, the more powerful the next tiny step (NTS).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>NTS has made a profound impact on my life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It helped me survive . . .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>business interruption<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>divorce<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>back pain<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>neuropathy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>. . . and ultimately, <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.steveblaising.com\/content\/how-to-burst-loneliness-with-the-brad-pitt-formula\/#more-4739\">loneliness<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>God doesn&#8217;t ask us to take impossible steps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Just the next tiny step.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>&#8220;The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him;
