Everest\/Triphackr<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\" id=\"h-sparks-ignite-a-marriage\"><strong>Sparks ignite a marriage<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>I don\u2019t care what anyone says about all the keys to a happy marriage.&nbsp; Sparks or the lack thereof tell you everything about the potential in a long term relationship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019m thinking about this now because I will officiate a wedding this upcoming weekend for a beautiful young couple filled with hope and joy for a lifelong future together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I\u2019ve officiated maybe a hundred or so weddings and I have yet to see no sparks when the bride and groom turn and face me at the top of the aisle.&nbsp; The only exception was when a young bride in preparation for the ceremony asked if I would repeat in the same voice what the clergyman did in The Princess Bride.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image size-full wp-image-1184\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"630\" height=\"280\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.steveblaising.com\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/impressive-clergyman-copy.jpg\" alt=\"Marriage &quot;Princess Bride&quot; style\" class=\"wp-image-1184\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.steveblaising.com\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/impressive-clergyman-copy.jpg 630w, https:\/\/blog.steveblaising.com\/content\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/04\/impressive-clergyman-copy-300x133.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 630px) 100vw, 630px\" \/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">Clergyman in &#8220;The Princess Bride&#8221;\/Offbeat Bride<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>\u201cMawage. And wuv, twu wuv, wiw fowo you fowevah an evah\u2026 So tweasuw you wov\u201d<\/strong> &nbsp;Clergyman, &#8220;The Princess Bride&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>My car battery lasted longer than that marriage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>&#8220;The moment of marriage should be one of the brightest in life.&#8221; &nbsp;<\/strong>SB<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>King David compared that great moment to a sunrise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>\u201cIn the heavens he has pitched a tent for the sun which is like a bridegroom coming forth from his pavilion.\u201d<\/strong> &nbsp; Psalm 19:5<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>But, how does the sun <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">keep shining<\/span> for husband and wife?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\" id=\"h-sizzle-maintains-a-marriage\"><strong>Sizzle maintains a marriage<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Three simple but clear ideas for a beautiful sizzle in your marriage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>FRIENDSHIP<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>FAITH<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>HOPE<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">FRIENDSHIP<\/span> . . . is the silver lining for a beautiful marriage.&nbsp; Friends love and share the pleasure and pain of everyday life.&nbsp; David\u2019s son, Solomon said \u201cEnjoy life with your wife, whom you love, all the days of your life.&nbsp; Go and eat your food in gladness, and drink your wine with a joyful heart, for it is now that God favors what you do.\u201d&nbsp; He didn\u2019t say to enjoy it alone.&nbsp; But, enjoy it with your \u201cwife\u201d because marriage is a gift of two great societies or personalities coming together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">FAITH<\/span> . . . Seven great words everyone must know.&nbsp; They were spoken by Jesus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><strong>\u201cEverything is possible for one who believes.\u201d<\/strong>&nbsp; Mark 9:23<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>There is unlimited potential for solving and surviving life\u2019s biggest problems in your marriage when you open the door to <a href=\"https:\/\/blog.steveblaising.com\/content\/run-to-the-land-of-beginning-again\/\">faith<\/a>, power from God in the unseen realm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">HOPE<\/span> . . . Just like mountain climbers have hope for reaching the highest summit, so does everyone aiming for a beautiful marriage.&nbsp; Climbing mountains requires a good base camp.&nbsp; A place where there is shelter and provisions.&nbsp; A place to rest and nurture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Besides FRIENDSHIP, FAITH and HOPE, there is . . .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\" id=\"h-steam-motors-a-marriage\"><strong>Steam motors a marriage<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">LOVE<\/span> . . .
